Legend has it that over 40 years ago,  a bartender was visiting the Virgin Islands and discovered a delicious, icy, chocolatey rum concoction that all the locals absolutely loved.  She returned home with this recipe in tow, adding it to her bar on Pensacola Beach, the Sandshaker Lounge.  After some tweaking, she unveiled this new booze-laced adult milkshake with instant success!  That was back in 1975.

Since that time, the Bushwacker has become a permanent part of Pensacola Beach.  From the Annual Bushwacker Festival to the entire Gulf Coast, you can be sure to find this delicious frosty alcoholic beverage on your next trip here!   It is the official drink of Pensacola Beach!

With our Pensacola Beach Bushwacker Soap, you don’t need to be of legal drinking age to enjoy it!  We make this soap with REAL Bushwacker Liqueur and REAL Kahlua in our recipe!  This soap not only smells INTOXICATING, but generates spectacular frothy lather that leaves your skin silky soft, smooth, and moisturized.  It smells just like its boozy counterpart!

Fragrance:  A warm, rich coffee-chocolate-vanilla-sweet fragrance.  Smells DELICIOUS!!

About:  All our soaps are hand-crafted right here at Hammock Bay Soap studio in Pensacola, Florida.  We make it in very small batches so each bar can get the love and attention it deserves.  After the soap “batter” is poured into wooden molds it is covered with cozy blankets.  Over the next 24-48 hours it goes through the saponification process and transforms into beautiful soap.  We like to say the soap is sleeping, and cannot be disturbed during that time.  After the magic has occurred and it is now soap, we unmold it, hand-cut each bar one at a time, and inspect each one.  They are then lined up on curing racks and allowed to quietly rest over the next 6-8 weeks.  Whew!  Then finally, each bar is inspected yet again, hand-wrapped and prepared to embark on their journey to their new homes.

Weight:  This is a 4 oz Bar.  Please note that all our soaps are hand-cut so actual weight may vary slightly, to your advantage!  They are often higher in weight than what is listed!

To Use:  Keep your soaps in a dry, ventilated area when not in use.  You can help them last far longer by creating this perfect environment.
