It’s easy for dogs to pick up fleas while enjoying time outdoors.  You can help repel fleas by giving your pooch a sudsy bath with our Organic Herbal Flea-Repelling Dog Shampoo.

We start off by simmering fresh Organic Rosemary, Organic Peppermint Leaves, Organic Calendula Petals, Organic Lavender Flowers, and Orgamic Chamomile for several hours to infuse their healing properties for the final product.  Not only does this shampoo smell lovely, but all these herbs work together to deter fleas.  Once the simmering is complete it is allowed to cool overnight.  The herbs and flowers are gently filtered out of the water.  This rich solution is then added to a gentle liquid Castile base (we make that ourselves too!) with a hint of Organic Olive Oil, and a few extra drops of Rosemary, Peppermint and Lavender Essential Oils as well.

To Use:  Thoroughly wet dog.  Apply small amount of shampoo (1 – 2 Tablespoons) onto dog and work up a lather with your fingers.  Gently massage lather all over dog, working well onto skin.  Rinse thoroughly.  For an extra flea-beating boost follow up with our Conditioning Vinegar Rinse.  Your fur baby will have beautiful shiny fur and smells fabulous and fleas will hate it!

Pssssst!  Can we share a secret?!  You can use this shampoo on yourself, yeah, you heard it, you can use it on your own hair!  This shampoo is also excellent for horses, leaving a shiny, healthy coat.
