Luxurious, thick, frothy lather that’s full of gentle goodness, great for your hair and also a bath bar!  The organic apple cider vinegar is used in the main recipe, and also at the end of the “cook” of the Hot Process Soap making process.  That leaves extra apple cider vinegar to act as a rinse for your hair, leaving it shiny, soft, and clean.  We add in a bit of Rosemary Essential oil, and Tea Tree Essential oil which joins the apple cider vinegar aroma to create a fresh and clean fragrance.

Shampoo Bars are a great way to be kind to your hair and the environment!  Ear bar is jam-packed with exquisite oils and butters that work up a big lather.  They are also long lasting.  You can shampoo your lovely locks with these rich little powerhouses, condition your hair as usual, and save the environment from 2-3 empty plastic bottles from conventional liquid shampoo.

About:  All our soaps are hand-crafted right here at Hammock Bay Soap studio in Pensacola, Florida.  We make it in very small batches so each bar can get the love and attention it deserves.  After the soap “batter” is poured into wooden molds it is covered with cozy blankets.  Over the next 24-48 hours it goes through the saponification process and transforms into beautiful soap.  We like to say the soap is sleeping and cannot be disturbed during that time.  After the magic has occurred and it is now soap, we unmold it, hand-cut each bar one at a time, and inspect each one.  They are then lined up on curing racks and allowed to quietly rest over the next 6-8 weeks.  Whew!  Then finally, each bar is inspected yet again, hand-wrapped and prepared to embark on their journey to their new homes.

Note:  Hot Process Soaps are made in extremely small batches in an old-fashioned kettle.  Once it is completed cooking, it is ready to be hand-ladled into the mold, cooled overnight and ready to go on its journey to you by the next day.  The cooking process allows the ingredients to go through the saponification process right in the kettle.

Weight:  Approximately 4+ oz.  Please note that all our soaps are hand-cut so actual weight may vary slightly to your advantage!  They are often higher in weight than what is listed!

To Use:  Keep your soaps in a dry, ventilated area when not in use.  You can help them last far longer by creating this perfect environment.  You may wish to purchase a wooden soap rack to help with this process.
